Our Story

Where It All Started

In 1992, brothers Eamon, Barry and Brendan McCoy founded MacWaste in Warrenpoint, County Down — following in their father's footsteps in the waste industry after his untimely death. Starting out in tank cleaning alone, the business grew quickly to become the premier tank cleaning company in Ireland.

Continued Innovation and Growth

That single service became the foundation for everything MacWaste does today. As demand grew, so did the business — a modern fleet, new equipment and licensed facilities followed, expanding into the full range of environmental services now on offer. The same drive to innovate still shapes how we work, from the equipment we invest in to the services we add as our customers' needs change.
