Why Bunds Need Cleaning
A bund is the secondary containment around an oil or chemical tank. Over time it collects rainwater, wind-blown debris and any product that has leaked or been spilled. If it is left full it cannot do its job, and contaminated bund water must never be released to drain.
What We Do
We remove the liquid and any sludge from the bund, separate and dispose of the oily or contaminated fraction under licence, and leave the bund clean and empty. Where the bund lining is damaged we can advise on what is needed to restore containment integrity.
